Wally

Wally has had a fantastic life with a loving mom but life situation has changed and he needs to find a wonderful retirement home. He is around 8-9 years old but full of energy still. A little about him, he does not really like other dogs on first meeting and would do best as an only dog. He was abused as a puppy and young dog and never fully recovered his confidence so would not do so well with children. He LOVES to be with his owner and really will stick to you like glue and give you lots of love. Please consider this cared for older dog an addition to to your home.

Doc

This senior dog is looking for a retirement home, he loves to be with his people and will just sit at their feet all day. He is not interested in playing but gets along great with other dogs he is currently being fostered with two other bassets. He needs a fenced yard to sniff in and a loving owner but he is not demanding on your time, loves cats, kids and dogs.

Zoe

Zoe is a Basset Hound and Labrador retriever mix from PAWS who took her from Skagit Valley Shelter The people giving her and her Brother up said they could not afford the dogs. She is around 6 or 7 years old. Zoe is a Basset/Lab mix. She is very short legged girl and has a big body. She wants to please her owners and is very obedient. She was an outside only dog who gladly made the change to inside only... She learned her house training and manners very quickly! She has a love for her homemade dirt dugout bed she made under the back porch. (she forgets she is welcome and loved even now and can go in and out the dog door whenever she wants). Zoe is very much Alpha with other dogs and can be bossy although she has learned to share. She is very patiently waiting for her new home.

Rosie

Look at that pretty face, this mature girl had a hard life. She lived in a barn where she was allowed to get abscesses in her teeth. Her teeth hurt so bad she would snap and lunge when approached to be pet. Her teeth are all better now, and she is waiting for the perfect quiet home to give her a little patience, and help her get over her fears. With a routine she may be able to be potty trained, but she really needs some patience.
